All classes are intimate (aimed at being tailored to individual needs), informative and encourage a community of intelligent movers to come together to explore and question. You will learn about your body and probably be surprised along the way, discovering what it can do and the sneaky patterns and compensations it is holding on to. I encourage you to approach things with curiosity and explore outside of the studio space to develop your own practice of ‘functional’ movement in your everyday life.
Restorative
I have a real interest in pain science; injury, rehabilitation, trauma and chronic pain. These classes are suitable for those who have suffered injury, are recovering after operations or have limited mobility. Working with individuals within a class this class will gently help you strengthen your body and enable your movements to become more manageable and improve those areas of pain or weakness.
Functional Movement
I have a particular passion for working with those who have scoliosis, I hold separate classes for adult and teenagers which is particularly beneficial as this develops a community and supportive feel for each peer group.
Whether they are pre or post operative or just in a stage of management. Our group helps to look at movement patterns and challenges the imbalances that otherwise lead to chronic pain.
