Scoliosis

I have a particular passion for working with those who have scoliosis. I completed a specialism in America, during 2017, with a leading practitioner in this area, in order to further my knowledge.

I hold separate classes for adult and teenagers, which is particularly beneficial as this develops a community and supportive feel for each peer group (and their families).

Whether in the management stage or pre or post operatively, these classes are suitable for all.

The classes help to look at movement patterns that can often be challenging and work towards strengthening muscular imbalances, which can often lead to chronic pain.

All students are encouraged to identify what they want to achieve, what they are capable of in the short and long term. Whether through sports or an academic setting (such as times of revision and more sedentary positions), movement is incredibly important.
